Shrink Ray

I love(d) the movie "Honey I shrunk the Kids." I loved the shrink ray in the movie and I remember building one out of a t-ball stand and old computer parts and wire my dad had in the garage. I decided to model and render a more modernized version of the good old shrink ray.

Modeled in Maya 8.5

One of the final courses in my Major was the Advertising Campaigns class. We were organized into an "agency" and given the G.I. Joe case study to come up with a campaign for. The image is my rendering of the point-of-purchase display we came up with.

"To carry the "Meet Joe" idea into the retail setting, an interactive Point of Purchase display will be created to showcase the line of action figures. The display will be made to look like a supplies crate that has been parachuted right into the store. The LCD screen inside the main crate will display clips from the G.I. Joe movie as well as introduce the features of the action figures hanging on the door of the crate."
